Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
952 AM EDT Fri Sep 4 2026

A mix of sun and clouds will prevail across the Keystone state
this afternoon. Showers and storms will be possible, mainly
across the southwestern part of the state. Some of the storms
across the southwestern counties could be on the strong to
severe side, with heavy downpours damaging winds.

Afternoon highs will range from the mid 70s across the northern
tier to the upper 80s across the southeast.

Aside from a few linger showers and storms toward Pittsburgh on
Saturday, Pennsylvania will see improving conditions on Saturday
with slightly cooler temperatures, decreasing humidity, and dry
weather. By Saturday night, a cold front sweeping through the
Commonwealth will usher in a refreshing fall-like airmass and
allow temperatures to drop into the upper 40s and 50s for most of
the area. After some morning fog mixes out, Sunday and Labor Day
will be gorgeous with abundant sunshine, low humidity, and
pleasant temperatures.
