Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
534 PM EST Mon Nov 17 2025

The low pressure system over the Canadian Maritimes responsible
for the windy conditions over the past couple days will gradually
loosen its grip on our local weather later tonight and Tuesday as
high pressure builds in. After a brief period of tranquil but
chilly conditions tonight and Tuesday morning under mainly clear
skies, another low pressure system will move from the Ohio Valley
to the Virginias by Tuesday night. This weather feature will
spread a thick shield of clouds across the region Tuesday
afternoon into Tuesday night with some light rain across the
southern half of the state Tuesday afternoon and early Tuesday
night. The air will be marginally cold enough for the
precipitation to be mixed with or fall as wet snow across the
higher terrain.

Low temperatures early Tuesday will be in the low to mid 20s
across the northwest mountains and mid to upper 20s over the
remainder of the state. Highs Tuesday will be in the 30s to mid
40s.
