Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
528 PM EDT Sun Oct 5 2025

High pressure will remain nearly stationary through Monday,
leading to another dry and unseasonably warm early October day
Monday, as the southerly wind freshens slightly. Afternoon high
temperatures on Monday will be in the upper 70s to mid 80s,
averaging well above normal for early October.

For tonight, skies will be clear with the wind becoming nearly
calm, causing temperatures to fall to slightly above normal lows
in the mid 40s to low 50s.

Clouds will be on the increase late Monday into Tuesday, ahead of
a cold front. This front will bring a few periods of showers
Tuesday into Tuesday night as it pushes east across Pennsylvania.
Lows Monday night will be in the 50s to lower 60s, thanks to the
blanketing effect of the thickening cloud cover.

Cooler temperatures will follow the front for Wednesday through
Friday, and there will be the risk of frost for Wednesday night
and Thursday night. A few spots could even touch the freezing
mark across the northern sections of the Keystone state.
