Some of the storms will be strong to severe and may produce damaging wind gusts, large hail, and possibly a few tornadoes. Very heavy rainfall will also be possible with the thunderstorms and a few instances of flash flooding may occur. The best chance for storms on Tuesday will be focused over northern PA, with the threat expanding to much of the Keystone State for Wednesday. The highest chances for severe weather on Thursday look to be across the southern half of Pennsylvania. High temperatures through Thursday will generally be in the 80s to low 90s. Increasing humidity will result in heat index values approaching 100 degrees at times. The chance for showers and thunderstorms may linger into Friday across western Pennsylvania, though high temperatures will drop back into the 70s and low 80s. $$
