Hot, humid conditions are expected this afternoon over south-
central and southeast Pennsylvania, with air temperatures in the
low to mid 90s, and heat indices from 100 to 105 degrees.
Elsewhere across the state, high temperatures this afternoon will
range in the 80s. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms,
along an incoming cool front, could produce isolated instances of
strong, damaging wind gusts.

Friday looks less humid and somewhat cooler, with generally rain-
free weather. Afternoon highs on Friday should range from the
mid-upper 70s over the northern mountains, to the mid 80s in the
southern valleys of the state.
