High pressure will remain in control over the southeastern part of the state with clear skies and patchy fog. Low temperatures will range from the 60s across the west to the 50s elsewhere. As the cold front slowly progresses eastward on Wednesday, isolated to scattered showers and storms will likely develop across central and western Pennsylvania, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs on Wednesday will be on the warm side, with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to mid 80s. Lows Wednesday night will be in the 60s. Shower and thunderstorm activity will continue to spread to the east and south on Thursday. Some of the rain could be on the heavy side. Highs on Thursday will once again be in the upper 70s to mid 80s. After a dry day on Friday, a frontal system will bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms across the north and west on Saturday, and across the remainder of the commonwealth on Sunday. $$
