High pressure centered well off the Mid Atlantic Coast will keep
its ridge extended to the Central Appalachians today. The will
maintain rain-free conditions with partly to mostly sunny skies,
a light southerly breeze and unseasonably mild afternoon highs
ranging from the low to mid 60s across the Endless Mountains and
Poconos in Northeastern PA to the mid 70s in the Greater
Pittsburgh Area.

Even slightly milder temperatures will occur on Wednesday as a
south to southeasterly wind freshens with gusts into the 20 to 25
mph range. Clouds will increase then thicken-up late Wed and Wed
night with a few periods of rain, focused in the Wednesday night
and Thursday morning timeframe.

Thursday will feature temperatures remaining on the mild side
before drier and cooler air moves in for Friday through Sunday
with readings still several degrees above normal.
