...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL HUNTINGDON...NORTH
CENTRAL FRANKLIN...SOUTHWESTERN JUNIATA...SOUTHWESTERN PERRY AND
NORTHWESTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM EDT...

At 227 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18
miles south of Lewistown, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Honey Grove, East Waterford, Colonel Denning State Park, Loysville,
Perulack, Big Spring State Park, Blacklog, Blain, and New Germantown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
south central and central Pennsylvania.
