Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches. The heaviest of the snow will fall between midnight and 11 AM EST. * WHERE...Warren County. * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes. Wind gusts into the 20s and lower 30s could make it difficult to keep the roads clear. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for wet roads and sidewalks to ice over as it gets colder tonight. The last of the snow bands may linger all afternoon, but the bulk of the snow should be over by early afternoon. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help you survive in case you become stranded. During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can also vary greatly.
