...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Periods of heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow
  accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. Localized new snow
  accumulation of 4 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph
  creating considerable blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...McKean and Warren Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds
  could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of significant snowfall is
  expected Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday morning.
  Additional snowfall amounts could exceed 6" in northwest Warren
  and McKean counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow
  accumulations up to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph this
  morning creating considerable blowing and drifting snow. For the
  Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations
  over 6 inches possible on the western ridges. Winds could gust as
  high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Somerset County.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 1 PM EST this
  afternoon. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Wednesday afternoon
  through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Strong
  winds could cause tree damage.

  considerable blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Cambria, Clearfield, and Elk Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
