...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS
MORNING TO 4 PM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 3 and 6 inches possible, with accumulations upwards of 7
  to 9 inches across across the northern half of the area. Winds
  could gust as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...McKean and Warren Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 4 PM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.
  Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in

* WHAT...Light freezing drizzle.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST early this morning.

* IMPACTS...Difficult travel conditions are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will gradually increase
  overnight tonight into Monday morning, ending the threat for
  freezing rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

  inches with locally higher amounts possible on the tallest ridges.
  Winds gusting as high as 65 mph in the Laurel Highlands.

* WHERE...Cambria, Clearfield, Elk, and Somerset Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning
  commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
