Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
1228 AM MDT Sun Jun 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Elevated to near-critical fire weather continues for areas west of the
Laramie Range as afternoon minimum humidity values tank into the 10 to
15 percent range with minimal accumulating rainfall and occasionally
gusty winds across this area. However, fuels across these locations
remain in the greenup stage, leading to no fire weather headlines for
this region. Areas east of the Laramie Range will see little to no fire
weather concerns with daily shower and thunderstorm potential. Elevated
fire weather conditions will continue through much of the work week as
very warm temperatures and dry air continues.
