.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions today and Thursday west of the
Laramie Range across Carbon and Albany Co with gusty westerly
winds and afternoon RHs dropping into the teens. However, fuels
remain non-critical across these areas. Farther east, wetting
rainfall is expected today over the Nebraska Panhandle with
afternoon thunderstorms initially developing over the higher
terrain before moving across the adjacent plains. Daily chances
for precipitation continue late this week into the weekend with
above average temperatures likely to persist late this weekend
into early next week.
