.DISCUSSION...
Moderate to elevated fire weather concerns expected
today and and Thursday, especially over Carbon and Albany counties,
as dry north to northwest wind increases each day. Concerns will then
shift eastward into east central Wyoming and western Nebraska with
wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected Thursday afternoon. Daytime
humidities are forecast to lower between 15 to 25 percent. Otherwise,
another surface cold front will push southwest across the region
Thursday night resulting in much cooler temperatures and higher
humidities for Friday and the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms
will likely return to the area late Friday and this weekend.
