835 FNUS55 KCYS 172246 FWFCYS Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY 446 PM MDT Tue Jun 17 2025 .DISCUSSION... While much of the area has received wetting rainfall over the last 24 hours, a warming and drying trend will begin tomorrow after this storm system departs. Winds will be fairly light on Wednesday keeping fire weather concerns to a minimum. However, increasing winds west of the Laramie range on Thursday will lead to elevated fire weather conditions. Widespread elevated fire weather conditions are expected Friday and Saturday with gusty southwest winds and near record high temperatures pushing RH to between 7 and 14 percent. Cooler and possibly wetter weather will return Sunday into Monday.
