Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
340 AM MDT Wed Jun 19 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Another cool day is expected Wednesday, but humidity will recover
considerably as the dryline pushes back to the west. Gusty south to
southeast winds are expected across much of the area today though,
especially in the Laramie Valley. A few scattered showers/storms are
expected once again, but the chance for wetting rains is low.

Much warmer on Thursday along the I-80 corridor, but moisture will
remain in place. More widespread thunderstorm activity is expected
Thursday with the possibility for locally heavy rainfall and
gusty/erratic winds. Expect a warming and drying trend through the
weekend, with very hot temperatures possible by Sunday and Monday.
