Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
400 AM MDT Thu Jun 27 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Minimal fire weather concerns today with scattered showers and
thunderstorms this afternoon bringing wetting rainfall,
especially across south-central Wyoming and the Nebraska
panhandle. A frontal passage on Friday will bring strong westerly
winds across much of Carbon and Albany Co with afternoon RHs
dropping into the teens leading to elevated fire weather
conditions. Saturday will be cooler with slightly below average
temperatures for late June before warming back up late in the
weekend and early next week.
