Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
319 AM MDT Sat Jun 1 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fuels are not receptive to rapid fire spread across the area due to
greenup, so fire weather headlines are not expected. A warming trend
begins today. Areas along and west of the Laramie range may see RH
approach critical values with gusty winds. Chances for afternoon
showers and thunderstorms will be present both today and tomorrow.
Storms will have the potential to produce gusty winds, though
widespread wetting rains are not likely. Warm and dry weather will
continue for much of next week, and a period of windy weather is
possible on Tuesday into Wednesday.
