.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns will be minimal today and tomorrow due to plentiful
cloud cover and humidity moving into the area. RH is expected to remain
well above critical thresholds. A strong cold front will sweep through the
area late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, and bring much drier
air along with the cool down. As a result, elevated fire weather conditions
are possible Sunday over the High Plains with RH dropping to around 20%
and strong westerly winds expected. Humidity will recover beginning Monday,
so fire weather concerns will return to low for the early part of next week.
