.DISCUSSION...Light south winds this morning will shift into the
southeast before this evening. Showers and widely scattered
thunderstorms are forecast to develop over the higher mountains
and lift northeast across the area. Best timing for thunderstorms
is between the hours of 1700 and 2200 in the late afternoon through
the late evening hours. Brief gusty winds are possible with both
shower and thunderstorm activity before they dissipate by midnight.
