.DISCUSSION...

Looking at a moist day Monday with precipitation chances likely during
the day and into the evening hours. A high temperatures around freezing
is expected as a strong storm system moves into the area. This storm system
will likely bring snow to the higher elevations given the cold air.
Relative humidity during the day is expected to be high, only falling to
about 85 percent due to precipitation. Accumulations are possible, with 2
to 5 inches of snow the most likely range with current model projections.
Most snow will fall during the day, with snow tapering off later in the
evening. Breezy conditions are expected with west to northwest winds at 15
to 20 MPH and gusts to 30 MPH. Winds will begin to weaken later in the
afternoon. Benign weather is expected on Tuesday with mostly sunny skies
anticipated by the afternoon. Relative humidity will remain high on Tuesday,
likely due to snow cover. High temperatures in the mid-30s are expected
with light winds.
