.DISCUSSION...

Breezy northwest winds will continue through the afternoon hours
today, though the direction will become more northerly late in the
afternoon. Expect gusts to around 25 mph. There is a slight (20%)
for an isolated thunderstorm through the early evening hours,
which may produce gusty and erratic winds if they pass nearby.
Winds will become lighter around 8PM or 9PM. While northwest will
be the dominant direction, the lighter winds may be variable at times.
Expect winds to settle on southeast by mid Friday morning, generally
5 to 10 mph through Friday afternoon. More widespread shower and
thunderstorm coverage is expected Friday. The chance for any rain
is around 35%, though the chance for wetting rainfall is 5 to 10
percent. Storms again will have the potential to produce gusty
and erratic winds. Friday will be warm and drier with RH falling
between 18 and 22 percent.
