...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ALBANY...WESTERN
LARAMIE AND SOUTHERN PLATTE COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM MDT...

At 320 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Sybille Canyon to Red
Feather Lakes. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Laramie, West Laramie, Happy Valley, Chugwater, Federal, Table
Mountain Ranches, Willadsen Estates, Antelope Buttes, Rocking Star
Ranch, Nine Mile, Silver Sage Estates, Rogers Canyon, Granite Canon,
Boulder Ridge, Bosler, Tie Siding, Pumpkin Vine, Vedauwoo Campground,
North Crow Campground, and Ames Monument.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 33 and 68.
 Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 300 and 353.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
