Issued at 226 AM CST Fri Nov 14 2025 An upper level ridge will pass over the Central and Southern Plains today through Sunday with an upper level shortwave digging into the Northern Plains tonight into tomorrow. No active weather is expected today through this weekend with a cold front pushing through the area tomorrow. Winds will generally be light and swinging from a southerly to westerly direction through tonight, then shift to the north behind the aforementioned cold front Saturday. Winds become light Saturday night then shift back to the south Sunday. As for temperatures, highs look to reach upper 70s to around 80 degrees today, mid 70s tomorrow, then mid 60s Sunday behind the cold front. Lows will dip into the 40s tonight with upper 30s to low 40s tomorrow night. The pattern then changes as a weak upper level trough slides into the Desert Southwest Sunday and towards the Central Plains Monday. As of now most ensemble members keep western Kansas dry as this system moves through with a cold front passage and a slight increase in cloud cover Monday. A stronger system may move through the area late week but will be watched with future model runs. As for temperatures, highs Monday look to reach into the 60s with 50s Tuesday and Wednesday. Near normal temperatures return late week. Lows will generally be in the 40s Monday morning, 30s Tuesday morning, then back into the upper 30s to low 40s for Wednesday morning.
