.DISCUSSION...
Today will be dry with temperatures near the seasonal normals.
Afternoon humidity values will bottom out in the 40 to 55 percent
range as temperatures warm into the low to mid 80s The winds will be
southeast at 10 to 15 mph with a few higher gusts during the
afternoon.
After today southwest Kansas will be transitioning into to wet
weather pattern. Rain showers and thunderstorms will be likely from
early Tuesday through Thursday night with locally heavy rainfall
possible at times, especially west of highway 83. Widespread
accumulating rainfall is expected.
