.DISCUSSION...
Showers and a few thunderstorms will continue/redevelop across
portions of southwest Kansas into central Kansas through this
afternoon before dissipating into this evening. Meanwhile, developing
northeasterly winds behind a cold front pushing southward through
southwest/central Kansas will persist through early afternoon before
subsiding while becoming more variable as surface high pressure
begins to move in. Light southerly winds are expected Saturday as
the surface high moves east through the Central Plains.
