This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) of severe thunderstorms this
evening as storms across eastern Colorado merge into one or more
systems with damaging winds to 60 mph the greatest severe weather
risk.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

On Thursday afternoon and evening, there is a Slight Risk (Level 2
of 5) across a much larger portion of western Kansas with large
hail and damaging winds the greatest threat with the strongest
storms. There is also a small risk of an isolated tornado with the
strongest storm.

Thunderstorms are also in the forecast Friday Night and especially
Saturday Night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed through mid to late evening across mainly
far western Kansas, west of Highway 83.
