...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flash Flood Watch is cancelled for In Minnesota, in east central
Minnesota, Pine County. In northeast Minnesota, Southern Lake,
Carlton and southern St. Louis Counties.

The flash flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flash Flood
Watch is being cancelled. Another round of light to moderate
rainfall moves back tonight into Wednesday, but rates should be low
enough that additional flooding concerns are not anticipated.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron,
  Sawyer and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of
  the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the
  northwestern county of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the Bad River
  Reservation and the St. Croix Band in Burnett County. Other
  locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and
  Madeline Island.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - While heavy rainfall has ended, flooding and flash flooding
    due to runoff from recent heavy rainfall is expected to
    persist through this evening and into tonight. Another round
    of moderate rainfall is expected to move into northwest
    Wisconsin later tonight into portions of Wednesday morning,
    which could exacerbate the ongoing flood concerns.
