Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE VERMILLION RIVER NEAR
CRANE LAKE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Vermilion River near Crane Lake.

* WHEN...through Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late Thursday night to a crest of 15.4 feet late Saturday
    morning before beginning to fall Sunday. It will then fall
    below flood stage early next week.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.2 feet on 04/25/1985.
  - Flood safety information can be found at
