.DISCUSSION...

Cloud cover will be increasing today ahead of an
approaching cold front, which will most likely sweep through this
evening in the 2100-2300 timeframe. This will result in SSW winds
shifting to the NW tonight. 20-ft winds ahead of this front will
be strong today, gusting up to 23 mph in open, exposed areas. Due
to increasing clouds, mixing heights will likely be limited with
fair smoke dispersal. Min RH is most likely to be around 42% by
1500. However, if slightly deeper mixing occurs, min RH in the
low 30% to upper 20% range isn`t out of the question. Light rain
showers move through this evening, ending by early Saturday
morning. Breezy northwest winds are forecast tomorrow with higher
min RH values, cooler temps, and clearing skies.
