.DISCUSSION...

Warm and dry conditions continue today, with moisture increasing ahead
of an incoming storm system. Winds will remain from the northwest
ahead of the approaching system today and tonight, increasing Tuesday
morning from the northeast. This will coincide with the arrival of light
snowfall. Snowfall will become more widespread by Tuesday afternoon, with
the heaviest snowfall rates Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Snowfall amounts of 8-11 inches are possible before snowfall tapers off
Wednesday night. Much colder temperatures are expected for the second
half of the week.
