Cloudy skies persist through the evening ahead of a cold front. Scattered light rain showers on an off and on basis persist until 8 PM, with increased coverage in the 9 PM to midnight timeframe as a cold front moves through before ending around 0100-0200 tonight behind the front. Total rainfall accumulations of 0.1-0.2 inches are forecast. Winds remain strong this evening, starting out southeast currently and then becoming southerly for much of the evening, before quickly turning westerly behind the cold front between midnight to 0100. Sustained winds of 10-15 mph with gusts of 20-28 mph this evening become 7-10 mph with gusts to 15-20 mph tonight. A cooler night is in store with lows around 40 degrees. A cooler and drier airmass works in behind the cold front for Monday with a high temperature in the upper 50s, min RH in the afternoon of 35-40%, and persistent west-northwesterly winds. The winds will be sustained at 7-10 mph with gusts of 15-20 mph through midday/very early afternoon, and then weaken slightly in the afternoon with gusts to 10-15 mph while veering northwesterly. .REST OF TODAY...
