.DISCUSSION...
Widespread rain is expected through today with an additional 1"
to 1.25" of rainfall by Thursday morning. Northeast winds today
are expected to be gusty around 20 mph, remaining strong as winds
shift to the north tonight and remain northerly on Thursday. Rain
begins to taper off on Thursday morning, with skies becoming
mostly cloudy in the afternoon and min RH lowering from 93 percent
today to 67 percent on Thursday. Shallow mixing today and tonight
will result in poor smoke dispersal. However, Thursday will see
more improved smoke dispersal as mixing heights trend higher and
strong winds result in transport winds up to 25 mph.
