.DISCUSSION...

Scattered light rain showers currently just east of Ely will be
arriving this morning ahead of an approaching cold front. By the
ignition time of 1000, rain will be just starting, expected to
occur on and off through today into Thursday morning. Snowflakes
may mix in at times late tonight, but snow accumulations are not
expected. Total precipitation today through tomorrow morning will
be up to 0.20". Min RH this afternoon will be around 61% with high
temps in the upper 30s. Southwest winds are expected today with
speeds around 6 mph, remaining southwest tonight with similar
speeds/gusts. Expect a wind shift to the west to occur mid to late
Thursday morning as the cold front moves through. Rain diminishes
tomorrow morning with skies scattering in the late afternoon as
high pressure begins to build.
