.DISCUSSION...
A wet period is expected today through Wednesday as low pressure
slowly moves through the Upper Midwest. Expect rain to begin over
the Kawishiwi RD Office in the 0800-1000 timeframe. Heaviest
rainfall rates are expected to be this afternoon and evening, with
rain becoming more scattered tonight into Tuesday morning as
drier air aloft moves in. Total rainfall amounts today through
Wednesday morning are forecast to be at least 1.5" on the low end
and up to 3" on the upper end. Overcast skies and relatively
shallow mixing will result in poor smoke dispersal today and
tomorrow.
