This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Strong south to southwest winds continue today, with sustained
winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts of 30 to 40 mph this afternoon
into tonight. Wind gusts will be strongest across northwest
Wisconsin.

These winds and relatively dry conditions may lead to elevated
fire weather conditions today. Fires may spread quickly.

A few non-severe thunderstorms are possible in far north-central
Minnesota this evening and tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Strong southwest to west winds expected Sunday, with gusts to 35
to 45 mph.

These winds and relatively dry conditions are expected to lead to
elevated fire weather conditions Sunday. Fires may spread
quickly.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday into
Sunday evening.

There is a chance for frost each night from Monday night through
Wednesday night. A freeze is possible for portions of the
Northland Tuesday night.

Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or
tonight.

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Strong southwest winds today and tonight will gust to 30 knots,
with waves of 1 to 4 feet. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Strong southwest winds continue Sunday, with gusts of 30 to 40
knots expected. A Gale Watch is in effect Sunday across western
Lake Superior.

Scattered non-severe thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon
and evening.
