Severe weather is not expected. Patchy frost is possible for parts of northeast Minnesota and inland northwest Wisconsin Saturday night, but a widespread freeze is unlikely. Elsewhere, strong northwest winds sustained at 15 to 25 knots with gusts to around 30 knots are forecast, strongest late this morning into early evening on the South Shore and near Grand Marais to Grand Portage. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect this morning into tonight for most western Lake Superior nearshore waters. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday West winds with gusts of 20 to 25 knots are forecast on Saturday, which could lead to the hazardous conditions for small craft.
