This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

South Shore lake effect snow is expected to begin today and
continue through tonight. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect
starting at 6 PM this evening for Iron and Ashland Counties, with
highest snow accumulations expected in the higher elevations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Lake effect snowfall accumulating 4 to 8 inches is expected on
Sunday into Monday morning over portions of Ashland and Iron
counties. Locally higher amounts in excess of 8 inches may occur
in the higher elevations of northern Iron County. Heaviest lake
effect snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour will be possible on
Sunday, leading to greatly reduced visibility. A Winter Weather
Advisory remains in effect for Iron and Ashland Counties until
early Monday morning.

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

North to northwest winds gusting to 25 knots this evening through
tonight will create conditions hazardous to smaller vessels. Waves
will also be building up to 5 feet along the South Shore tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Breezy northerly winds up to 25 knots continue on Sunday through
Sunday night with elevated waves along the South Shore, creating
conditions hazardous for small craft.

Conditions hazardous to small craft will likely return on Tuesday
and persist into Thursday. There is a low 10-30% chance for gale
force wind gusts on Wednesday.
