Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning is the main threat with the storms. Brief periods of locally heavy rainfall are possible which may lead to ponding of water in low-lying areas. Severe weather is not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Isolated to scattered storms are forecast for Labor Day Monday and Monday night. Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning is the main threat. Severe weather is not expected. Areas of dense fog are possible early Monday morning and Monday night into Tuesday morning. A cold front will move through the area Tuesday and Tuesday night which will provide a better chance of thunderstorms. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time.
