This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Patchy dense fog is forecast this morning which will reduce
visibility to less than one-quarter mile.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are forecast today and
tonight. Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning is the main threat
with the storms. Brief periods of locally heavy rainfall are
possible which may lead to ponding of water in low-lying areas.
Severe weather is not expected.

Areas of dense fog may redevelop tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Isolated to scattered storms are forecast for Labor Day Monday
and Monday night. Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning is the main
threat. Severe weather is not expected.

Areas of dense fog are possible early Monday morning and Monday
night into Tuesday morning.

A cold front will move through the area Tuesday and Tuesday night
which will provide a better chance of thunderstorms. Severe
weather is not anticipated at this time.

Patchy frost is possible Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.

Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorms are forecast today and tonight. Occasional
cloud-to-water lightning is the main threat. Severe weather is
not anticipated at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Isolated storms are forecast Labor Day Monday and Monday night.
Severe weather is not anticipated.

A cold front will move through the area Tuesday and Tuesday night
which will provide a better chance of thunderstorms. Severe
weather is not anticipated at this time.

Gusty north and northwest winds are forecast over western Lake
Superior in the wake of a cold front Tuesday afternoon through the
end of the week. Conditions will be hazardous to smaller vessels
at times from Tuesday through Saturday.
