This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are expected
today for portions of central Minnesota east into the I-35 and
US-53 corridors. Minimum relative humidity values will be in the
25 to 35 percent range in these areas combined with wind gusts of
20 to 30 mph and could cause fires to spread rapidly. Check
burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Northwest winds will strengthen today to 15 top 25 knots by this
evening. Gusts will increase to 25 to 35 knots. The strongest
gusts will be found over the North Shore waters from Taconite
Harbor to Grand Portage. Waves over the South Shore waters and the
Outer Apostle Islands will build to 2 to 7 feet. Small Craft
Advisories and Gale Warnings are in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Strong northwest winds are expected to last into Sunday. Gusts of
20 to 30 knots are expected early and will gradually diminish by
evening. Waves will be highest along the South Shore and Outer
Apostle Islands at 2 to 6 feet tapering off to 1 to 3 feet by
early afternoon.
