Up to a light glaze of ice accretion is possible, leading to slick spots on untreated surfaces. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday A couple clipper systems are expected to bring widespread, accumulating snow to the Northland early to mid next week, which may result in travel impacts. The first clipper is forecast for Monday afternoon into Monday night. The second, more robust clipper system is forecast for Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Small Craft Advisories have been issued for this evening and tonight for the hazardous winds from Taconite Harbor to Grand Portage and for the combination of winds and waves for the South Shore. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Winds and waves hazardous to small craft decrease Saturday morning. Northwest wind gusts to around 20 to 25 kt late Saturday night into Sunday morning near Grand Portage may result in hazardous conditions for small craft. Southwest wind gusts up to 25 kt on Monday for parts of the North Shore and in the Outer Apostle Islands may result in hazardous conditions for small craft. Gusty northerly winds return on Tuesday night into Wednesday. Speeds may prove troublesome for small craft.
