A Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect for Iron County in Wisconsin through today for accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. There will also be scattered snow showers elsewhere across northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. Most areas will see little if any accumulation. However, lake effect showers may be found downwind of any open inland lakes where light accumulations may develop. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Additional accumulating snow is expected Saturday and Saturday night, especially across northwest Wisconsin and the Interstate 35 corridor of northeast Minnesota. Small Craft Advisories remain in effect for remaining near shore waters as northwest winds gradually decrease over western Lake Superior. Gusts of up to 35 knots this morning will decrease to 30 knots or less late in the morning and this afternoon.
