At 647 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
near Stoney Point, or 12 nm east of Duluth Lift Bridge Channel,
moving east at 40 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Knife River Marina, Superior Entry, Barkers Island, Siskwit Bay,
Apostle Island Sea Caves, Two Harbors Protected Access Agate Bay,
Maikwe Bay, Brule Point, Herbster, Meyers Beach, McQuade Harbor, Bark
Bay, Larsmont, Superior Harbor, Eagle Island, Port Wing Harbor, Bark
Point, Stoney Point, French River, and Duluth Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
