...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL ST. LOUIS COUNTY THROUGH
1115 PM CDT...

At 1044 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mountain Iron, or 16 miles northeast of Hibbing, moving southeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Virginia, Eveleth, Mountain Iron, Gilbert, Makinen, Franklin, Kinney,
McKinley, Iron Junction, Leonidas, Esquagama Lake, Murphy Lake, and
West Two Rivers Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
northeastern Minnesota.
