...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM SATURDAY TO 3 AM CST
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between
  1 and 5 inches.

* WHERE...Ashland and Bayfield Counties. This includes the Tribal
  Lands of the Red Cliff Band and the Bad River Reservation. Other
  locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and
  Madeline Island.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Saturday to 3 AM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A quick moving lake effect snow band is
  expected to move from north to south across the Bayfield Peninsula
  and Chequamegon Bay into northern Ashland County from late
  Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning. This band could
  bring a very quick hit of heavy snowfall rates in excess of 1 inch
  per hour and localized total amounts of 6 inches are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Lake effect snow bands and showers are expected to create conditions
ranging from locally heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles
away. Visibilities can also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid
changes in weather, visibility, and road conditions.
