...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to two inches. Winds
  gusting as high as 40 mph, will cause blowing snow.

* WHERE...Crow Wing, Aitkin, Cass, and South Itasca Counties. This
  includes the Tribal Lands of the Mille Lacs Band, East Lake and,
  Big Sandy Lake areas.

* WHEN...Until noon CST today.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
  blowing snow. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blustery winds gusting up to 40 mph may
  result in areas of blowing and drifting snow.

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 4 and 12 inches except between 12 and 18 inches for
  northern Bayfield County. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Bayfield and Douglas Counties. This includes the Tribal
  Lands of the Red Cliff Band. Other locations including the Apostle
  Islands National Lakeshore.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and
  evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A corridor of locally higher snowfall amounts
  are possible somewhere in the warned area. Areas near Lake
  Superior, including the city of Superior, will receive less snow
  and may not see blizzard conditions. Blustery winds gusting up to
  40 mph may result in areas of blowing and drifting snow.

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between
  13 and 20 inches except between 20 and 30 inches for northern Iron
  County. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Ashland and Iron Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands
  of the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band and the Bad
  River Reservation. Other locations including Madeline Island.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread
  blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening
  commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 8
  inches, with most of that snowfall occurring before 6AM for St.
  Louis and Carlton counties. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Carlton, South and Central St. Louis, Cook and Lake
  Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bois Forte Band,
  Lake Vermilion area, the Grand Portage Reservation and the Fond du
  Lac Band. This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and
  central area.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
  blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening
  commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A corridor of locally higher snowfall amounts
  are possible somewhere in the warning area. Snow totals will be
  less near Lake Superior. Blustery winds gusting up to 45 mph may
  result in areas of blowing and drifting snow.
