* Until 900 AM CDT.
* At 301 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate
additional thunderstorms will produce heavy rain across the warned
area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges indicate 1 to 3 inches have
fallen, with more thunderstorms moving into the area.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Atlantic, Stuart, Earlham, Anita, Exira, Redfield, Adair, Dexter,
Casey, Diamondhead Lake, Menlo, Linden, Brayton, Marne, Wiota,
Anita Municipal Airport, Lake Anita State Park and Atlantic
Municipal Airport.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 100 and 106...and
between mile markers 50 and 99.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
