Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...The North River near Norwalk Hwy R57, or from the
  Madison-Warren County line to the Des Moines River.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Water is over Iowa 28 immediately south of
  Norwalk and threatens several rural gravel roads.
  At 23.0 feet, Secondary road closures occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - The latest stage was near 22 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to crest around 22 feet
    today.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
