.DISCUSSION...
Breezy winds out of the south/southeast will continue this
afternoon, with gusts up to 25-30 knots, isolated to 35 knots into
northwest Iowa before decreasing this evening. Winds will shift
northerly into Monday with a frontal passage bringing slightly
breezy conditions with gusts up to 15-20 knots. Scattered showers
are possible (20-50%) this evening into Monday with the frontal
passage, then dry the rest of the day. Minimum RH values above 40%
are expected for the rest of today, though will decrease into the
30s across the northern half of the state Monday with drier air
overhead. Overall, the drier air is paired with the less breezy
winds so fire weather concerns should remain minimal.
