.DISCUSSION...
There are no fire weather concerns through the period due to
green fuels as well as high minimum relative humidity, generally
above 35%.
There will be chances for showers and embedded storms today,
though it will not be an all day rain. It will also be breezy
today with wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph. Occasional shower and storm
chances are possible tonight as well as Sunday and Monday.
Sunday, May 31, 2026, will be the last issuance of the afternoon
fire weather planning forecast (FWF) for the spring season. The
morning issuance of the FWF by 9am will continue through the
summer and partner agencies may request spot forecasts anytime
there is a need for their operations.
